C. McNeill; 30 Jan 1840; Catherine died in childbirth 9 Dec 1844. Was Hector from Moore Co.? He may have been the brother of John McNeill of Rollins Store in Moore Co., NC who was father to Mary Jane's two children born out of wedlock (see below). Hector C. McNeill is found in Wilcox, Co., AL with all three unmarried daughters. The fourth daughter had married in the Carolinas. |
