Notes: Hector McNeill had land on Upper Little River and land north of Lower Little River. He had a will and an estate settlement in Cumberland County. He and his wife were deeded a slave, Chaney, in 1789 by her father Turquill McNeill. His wife Margaret appears to be dead at the time of her husband's will of 1834. Hector had an illigitimate daughter, Margaret; see below.
